1,128 lives saved from abortion through 40 Days for Life:
They say that a picture’s worth a thousand words. Well, this photograph documents a baby who was saved by last fall’s 40 Days for Life — and then was brought out to meet the prayer volunteers at the 40 Days for Life campaign this fall. And in the background you can see the abortion facility where he was scheduled to be aborted. That’s baby Shamus. His mother pulled up in front of the 40 Days for Life vigil this fall in West Palm Beach, Florida. She said to the prayer volunteers, “Dunno if you remember me, but a year ago you stopped me. Look in the back seat — he’s PERFECT.” This picture tells the entire story of 40 Days for Life. Shamus is one of 1,128 children who have been spared from abortion during the three national 40 Days for Life campaigns. And one day, we pray that you also can have the experience of meeting a child who is alive because of your faithful participation in these efforts!
After 35 years of legalized abortion in America, many people of faith are experiencing a renewed sense of HOPE!
